We are Pinterest Friendly.)

Ways2play joined Pinterest quite recently and found ourselves in a transition phase.  There has been some controversy over copyright, particularly images where you could be sued if you took someone elses’ image, even if you were promoting their blog.  This caused some people to stop their boards, delete their accounts and avoid Pinterest all together.  Thankfully for those of us who need visuals the situation seems to resolving and  Pinterest have changed their terms and conditions.  Now if there is a complaint Pinterest will remove the offending post as in other networks such as You Tube.  However this situation also made people who wanted to stay on Pinterest rethink their strategies of use, which is why this post is so exciting. Let’s Lasso the Moon has started an initiative that blogs could declare that they were Pinterest friendly giving people the right to pin from their blogs.  Zina at Let’s Lasso the Moon then came up with the idea of linking these together so we would have a network of Pinterest friendly blogs.  So at Ways2Play, in the true spirit of collaboration that the net inspires, declare that we are Pinterest friendly and invite you not only to pin from our blog but also link your blog to the network.  The more we share, the more we help each other, and the more we learn from each other.  If you want to link you can do so below.  You can also visit Ways2Play’s collaborative Books Worth Reading With Kids on Pinterest as part of our Create a Reading Addiction in your Child series.

  1. Hi Sharon,
Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my blog about my Teaching My Kindergartener to Read post. I really appreciate that. It’s not always easy to be sure that we are doing the right thing, so positive feedback is much appreciated. Anyway, I’d like to post your linky about teaching kids to read on my facebook fan page, if you are ok with that. If so, could you send me the link to the post? I wasn’t able to locate it on your blog.
    Thanks so much!
P.S. I see you are a fellow Kids Co-Op co-host as well. I just joined last week. :-)

    • Thank you Julie for stopping by. I really appreciate it. The Kids’ Co-op is an exciting adventure.) I haven’t learnt this much in a while.)
